TOGETHER WE HOWL: UNM FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR LUKE SCHLEUSNER

The Pit Press is excited to announce the third installment of our collaboration with 505 Sports Venture Foundation and Kurt Roth, titled "Together We Howl."

It's a virtual series lineup of livestreams and podcasts centered around UNM Athletics on Wednesdays in the summer of 2025. At 7 p.m. on June 25, Luke Schleusner will join the show.

Schleusner is the offensive coordinator for UNM Football. Schleusner joined the UNM coaching staff in December 2024, joining new UNM head football coach Jason Eck.

Schleusner spent the last three seasons at Idaho with Eck, where he helped turn wide receiver Jordan Dwyer into an FCS All-American. In 2024, Dwyer had 78 catches for 1192 and had a rushing attack that amassed 2238 yards.

Throughout his coaching career that started in 2005, Schulsener spent stops at Western Illinois, Minnesota State Mankato, North Dakota and South Dakota State.

While involved with the offense as a passing game coordinator or wide receivers/tight ends coach, Schleusner coached several NFL players like Adam Thielen, Kenny Golladay, Tucker Kraft, and recent Super Bowl Champion Dallas Goedert.

The series will feature interviews with coaches and student athletes, highlight community involvement and provide viewers with an inside look at who they are on and off the field, as well as why NIL is an integral part of their experience.

Topics with Schleusner will revolve around his coaching experience, philosophy and the importance of Name, Image & Likeness (NIL).
