505SVF, Pit Press partner for summer series
The Pit Press is excited to announce a new collaboration with 505 Sports Venture Foundation called “Together We Howl.”
It's a virtual series lineup of livestreams (on The Pit Press's social media platforms, which include X, YouTube, and Facebook) and podcasts centered on UNM Athletics, airing on Wednesday evenings during the summer of 2025.
“We’re excited to team up with The Pit Press on this series. The UNM football staff has some amazing stories, and this is an opportunity to truly showcase the heart and hustle behind the program. It’s all about giving fans a closer look at the people driving Lobo football forward,” founder and chairman of 505 Sports Venture Foundation Kurt Roth said.
The series will start on June 4 at 6 p.m. and the first guest is Beau Davidson, General Manager of UNM football.
The series will feature interviews with coaches and student athletes, highlight community involvement and provide viewers with an inside look at who they are on and off the field, as well as why NIL is an essential part of their experience.
Other guests throughout the summer will feature UNM head football coach Jason Eck, offensive coordinator Luck Schleusner, defensive coordinator Spence Nowinsky and some players.
UNM head basketball coach Eric Olen is also slated to join over the summer with some of the new players representing the 2025-26 Lobos.
Topics with guests will revolve around scouting, the importance of Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) and the new landscape of college athletics.
With the help of UNM fans, 505 Sports Venture Foundation can make an impact in 2025.
The UNM Athletic Department had six programs win conference championships in the 2024-25 season.
That was the most by any Mountain West Conference member.
